the life style of “mosque goers”

statutory groups are one of the phenomenal effects on the spread of power in a society. realizing statutory groups has significant effects on macro policy and decision makings. the life style, patterns of consumption, ideology, ways of collecting members and the style of resistance of one statutory group against others can result in struggles and shifting power in a society. members of a statutory group have the same life style and realizing a statutory group depends on distinguishing similarities- better to say homogeneities- in their life styles. in this article, the life style of a statutory group called mosque goers has been investigated. the leading research question of this study is “what are the similarities among mosque goers’ life style?” in order to study mosque goers’ life style, six categories i.e. the background features, leisure time, musical favorites, criteria of selecting garment, political and religious attitudes and attitudes towards family have been investigated. the samples of this study are those who frequently go to the mosques to say their daily prayer. the data is gathered via three techniques of observation, questionnaire and interview. in order to process and analyze the gathered data, the bourdieu’s theory oflife style has been applied. the results showed high similarities and homogeneities among samples.
